Found my running rhythm early today which made the whole run so much better. About 5 minutes in I could feel myself just kind of bouncing along at a one two one two rhythm that felt comfortable. Even speeding up I was able to maintain that rhythm with no problems. We did two sprints during the run today. The first right at the Veterans Memorial Highway for about a minute then again at the end of the run so we’d make it all the way to Broadway this time. Sweet. The best reward is always about a minute after the run when that “runner’s high” kicks in and you really feel alive. Second best reward is having my favorite breakfast today…
