Well, maybe not super fast but faster than usual. Tonight’s pace was 11:30/mile. It is cold out there. I find that after a minute or so I’m warmed up enough that the cold doesn’t bother me. The only problem is breathing that cold air. I wear a balaclava which allows me to cover my nose and mouth so the cold doesn’t affect me. The only problem with that is I never feel like I’m getting enough air and after a few minutes I have to pull it off my face. Wash, rinse, repeat that for the whole run. Kind of annoying but at least I’m able to continue.

I didn’t feel sore at all today until about halfway through this run. Hoping for the same tomorrow and if so, I’ll get out there and run some more.
