Tonight, Bush gave his last State of the Union address. Yahoo! I can’t wait until this idiot is gone from office. I didn’t even bother to watch the speech this year since we all know it’s just the same old same old “the state of our Union is strong” crap. What country is he referring to?! Seriously folks, I think he’s back on the pot or coke or booze or whatever it is that’s altered his sense of reality.
I need to register to vote here. I haven’t gotten around to it yet. To tell the truth I’m not sure I even want to vote at all. Why vote for anyone if you don’t think they’re the one for the job? Why settle? That’s all we are really doing when we head to the polls. The candidates who really mean something never make it this far. Anyway, it’ll be interesting to see the outcome of the Feb. 5th primaries coming up. It’s between Hillary and Barack now. Personally, I’d choose Barack…if I were going to vote. Heh.

Why settle?
Because, had even 500 non-voters decided to vote in Florida in the 2000 election, for all we know, we wouldn’t have had George Bush these last 8 years but Al Gore.
So all those people in Florida who weren’t Democratic but would prefer a Green Party candidate or something else instead of Bush would’ve at least been halfway satisfied with Gore. In theory.
I’m going to vote.
the whole thing is a sham. it’s not even about what the voters want.
and we probably would have hated gore by the end, too. and he wouldn’t have had the time to make that movie that turned “living green” into a fashion statement.
i agree with voting, even though i don’t think it matters all that much. the electoral make the real decisions. the real vote is with your daily dollah! holla!
