Yesterday we changed up the schedule and ran a day early since Keri’s heading out of town Thursday and we want to get the week’s runs done. Short and easy 30 minute run. Plan to run again tonight so I’ll post about that later.

Today’s run was our favorite so far I think. 40 minutes at a steady pace for 4.88 kilometers/3.03 miles. We decided on running down on Waterfront to see where that would lead and at the halfway through the run decided to run all the way to Seven Stars Bakery in Rumford. Actually made it there in 36 minutes and had to run an additional 4 past it just to complete the time. Heh. My “napkin note” below:

Today’s run sucked. The plan was 10 minutes steady, 5 fast, then 10 steady. I was only able to do 1 minute of the fast interval before my legs started cramping up a bit. That forced me to slow to steady pace and never really recover my rhythm. Drinking more water today to make sure I’m properly hydrated. Saturday’s upcoming run is 40 minutes so I want to be ready.
